Not just student properties mate, worst one I've had for a long time was a young couple with a kid. Clothes all over the floor, you could not see the carpet! EICR so asked where the CU is? Cellar just next to 2 bed mattress's infected with bed bugs! He went onto tell me that they got infected by bugs and that one of them crawled up his "man sausage" and laid eggs!!!! Had to have an operation to remove them and it is still swollen!
Almost walked off the job but the very nice man that employed my services for the day would not have been happy. Cheers pal, you know who you are
I kicked the mattress's to the other side of the room and got on with it. Itching all the way home, took my clothes off in the back garden and jumped into the shower. This is something for the Trainees to think about, working in other peoples homes and some of the things you will see!
