Hey guys , i have done my 2391 city and guilds certification , but was wondering what other kind of other electrical jobs are out there apart from just being a domestic/commercial electrician. I really fancy going somewhere different in electrics but not sure where to start . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou.

you could try working in the industrial sector which is vast and varied. I myself started working for the M.o.D. and ended up working at a local biomass plant going via maintenance in factories and specialising in the installation of trace heating cables.

try stage electrics different lighting etc something i wanted to try but didnt

I think lighting would be a good niche area to get into especially with todays emphasis on energy saving. It's a fast moving area recently and probably will be for the next few years at least, you need to be wide awake to keep pace with the latest brands and technologies.

just a thought you could also try getting into the green side on a low scale by fitting voltage optimisation systems such as vphase units. they even do free courses on how to install

As said you could consider industrial, alot more varied, doing all different types of work week in week out....
