Does anyone know of any good deals or kits to get me started?

Someone mentioned Electrafix for about £100 but they dont have any catalogues in at the moment. Any ideas guys?

sometimes the sheds have good deals on . also look on ebay, but go for recognised brands like knipex., CK etc. also,,try CPC online .

Is that a good one for any new starter, will it have enough tools to get me up and running

apprentices at my work get given this set but it inclused a hacksaw plumbob beed etc. its a pretty good kit for the price. tbh I use a jumble of brands, knipex pliers. silverline snips ( cost like £9 ) amazing snips. defience screwdrivers ( I prefer the chunky but round handle ) ck handle seems to be a bit flat on 2 sides which im not keen on. are you an apprentice? or looking to do DIY ?

Well i'e completed a course, looking to get my own tools and preferably a job somewhere to improve my skills. So if you have any ideas on that one too that would be great...

Silverline Tools - Pliers / Expert VDE

this site will do you fine, the VDE Expert Side-Cutting Pliers 200mm snips that you see are what I use. ck and knipex will charge £25 + for snips like that. these are just as good and feel better in your hand.
