Hello all, this is a fantastic forum and a great resource for answering questions, but where else do you guys go to find electrical information. I subscribe to ecn, wiring matters, professional electrician mag also visit sites, voltimum and hiddenwires. What other good resources are out there?

Thanks for all replies so far, but no one has really answered the question.I enjoy all the banter inbetween but I'm trying to expand knowledge. And although Google search is good the results are vast, especially if just generally building a understanding of electrical installation. Everyone has a different direction for finding answers, just tapping in to how you all go about it. Is there any other publications out there?

.......and a few good books :)
As said BS7671 is useful, so are the on site guide, the electricians guide to the building regulations, the IEE guidance notes, the building regulations approved documents.
The guide books (unfortunately by the NICEIC) snags and solutions, and electrical design, the calculations for electrical design (forgotten the name) are all useful resources.

Other electrical forums such as the IET one (but not the Screwfix one!) are also useful to gain alternative view points. Have a search for them and they will appear.
