Electricians vs Plasterers

Just been having a quick look on direct.gov to see what is about, came upon 2 different jobs advertised by the same agency.

Electrician qualified to the 17th £9.51 ph

Plasterer - £10 ph

Havent really looked for employed work for a while and thought this a bit strange. Are plasterers worth more than sparks??

This is my first post, I am doing my electrians C&G course in september, Being a plasterer for 22 years, I have had enough, well my body has! Bad back, tennis elbow. £10 an hour well cheap, depending what it is. setting work is easy, but if its floating and setting, not enough. London work £170 a day local £120.00
