deff mate. i can`t wait for them. i don`t spend much at the shows but i enjoy the seminars and a look round. be nice to put a face to the posts. i met lenny at elex last year and true to forum form he is a real gent. i was actually going to meet up with him there and text him to let him know i had got there, turned out i was sat next to him in the iet seminar room when i text
its a hike down from leeds but well worth it. i can`t understand why they don`t do more of them across the country. busy as hell all 5 of the ones i have been to
i think our trip was 2 hours ish? seems a long time ago now i am first in the que for the harrogate one for those freebie super rods. got a good socket adapter from the napit stand that was worth 15 quid for nothing aswell. oh and got offered a neon from the stand next to the electrical safety council
Some of the stuff that is on sale/offer on some of the stands is frightening!! Did you get to see the set of 1000v drivers that were on sale - 8 drivers plus neon for £5 and looked every bit as cheap!!!
some of the stuff is shocking pardon the pun. also i am not rich enough to purchase much and tbh i have all the tools i need. only thing i got was a empty wago box for my helacons and a cracking 18v durofix impact driver and led set for 150 which should have been 200+ the vat. the seminars are good and like a little free regs update. maybe we should get a stand and do our own seminar this year
trouble is with the show is that my wholesaler gives me better prices than most of the stalls. don`t know if that`s just a good wholesaler or just expensive stalls?
Yea I suspect the same thing I have my eye on the fluke 1654b so I know what I can get it off the net for so I'll wait n see if fluke are running any promos
