I have an emergancy test two way switch

When the switch feed it broken the neon has to light

Do you take feed to common. L1 - switch feed l2 - to neon with a neutral at neon from board

you can wire the neon across live and switched live (com.& L1) when the switch is open circuit, the neon "sees" the L1 as neutral.

Just a one way
But a 2way key switch was given by lecturer as he said you take your sw feed from l1 or l2 and the neon from the other

I was wondering if you put the sw feed into l1 and the neon into l2 or vice versa
All what happens is wen you operate the key switch the switch feed breaks and the neon comes.

"It works" and "it's safe" are not necessarily the same thing. With DIY work, they are often far from the same thing.
