hi all

Planning a job out and was wondering if in a private workshop does it have to have emergancy lighting. The unit as stated is for a bloke who works for himself on his own, so no members of the public will be enterint the unit.

thanks

I think you will find that it is all down to his risk assessment. If he works after normal hours, dark as in winter too then,he can have a re chargeable torch strategically placed for emergencies. It is then written in risk assessment.
