i was just wondering what your thoughts were on the emergency budget, and what were the stand out items that affect us self employed sparkies out there?

i`m hoping the budget was not as bad as expected, and it may kickstart a bit of recovery?

your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I think the short term may be good as homeowners do improvements before the VAT hike

The main problem I see is the increased cost of fuel as Darlings fuel duty rises and the VAT increase mean fuel tax will increase overall by 4 - 5p by January
