Emergency light maintenance contract.

I have been asked if I would like to look after and maintain an emergency lighting system in a block of flats, as we have installed the fire alarm system and look after that . It’s not that big a place there are 3 floors and a basement with approximately two lights on each floor. Never done the maintenance side of this before, plenty of installs and repairs. Anyone have such a contract? What’s the going rate? After initial test and verification of the system what is required afterwards. Any advice would be helpful.

Good start will be a read of BS5266.
Most services now are Twice a year, 1st being 20 minute duration test and 2nd being 3 hour test.
The idea of this test is recycle the batteries, by discharging and recharging (personally i think the old 4 tests per year was better). Good idea to number all units for identification on test and fault sheets
