I was reading in the NICEIC Connections magazine that two fireman were trapped in a burning building due to becoming entangled in wiring that was not fixed properly.

What do most of you do when wiring a communal area or route for fire escape?

Do you use to support your cabling?

Seen as this is a proper problem for our nations fire fighters it may become a reg in the next amendment. I think it should be, It's a possible electrical hazard (live or dead) that we design and install. I agree, all fire exists wiring should have adequate time protection against fire for the safety of our lads and lassies saving our lives.
