Emergency Lighting Converter Packs

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a manufacturer of Emergency Lighting Converter Packs? I want hem to convert normal florescent light fittings into emergency light fittings. 4 core wiring is already in place.

EMEGILITE do conversion packs but you may be better buying emergency fittings as fitting the packs will involve stripping the fitting right down to the bare bones and moving ballast ect around to eneble the physical fitting of unit cost of the work and equipment may out way the cost of fitting also buying ready made comes with manufacturers warranty

Can the conversion packs be fitted in a suspended ceiling, remote to the actual light fitting?

Personally I wouldn't fit them, they always fail the 3 hour test in my experience!

Yes they can be fitted remote from the fitting and flexed into the lights.

They can but the flex needs to be FP200

Use Saturn Lighting allot, call them they supply battery packs for many fitting types.

Would go for new fittings myself tho.
