hi can someone guide me on a spec for emergency lighting,does it have to be on its own circuit or can you come off nearest lighting point to a key switch etc.
 
emergency lighting is usually not on an independant circuit. it is usually on the standard circuit with an extra feed pulled to the emergency fittings to charge the batteries
