emergency lighting

hi guys
I have two customers funny enough contacting me regarding non maintained emergency lights that are staying on permantly. both between 18-24 months old, its a dim light, not experienced this before, could this mean the unit is knackered.

sounds like it. you'll have to check them. for what they cost, replace them

There could be link in the fitting to chose between either non-maintaineed or maintained. Could be a cable acroos termonals, would be worth checking for this. Do you know what type of fittimg they are?

Well you should have the records to refer to ? If your servicing mandatory tests ?
