emergency lighting

Hi guys, could someone please give me some pointers on non maintained emergency lighting. Im planning to take 2core twin from same mcb as local lighting to a key switch, then onto the light, then from light to next key switch and so on. Im planning on having a key switch for each light. Im thinking theory wise that a perm live through the keyswitch and when switched will cut power to the all lights to prove working for testing purposes. Thanks

Jist read my own question and that would mean test/switch would only work from the first keyswitch, so just one keyswitch feeding all lights a better option?

Yes lol... Depends if you lights have em packs built in or a separate luminaire .. Whether maintained or non maintained

I prefer method of lights not going off to test emergency lights .. So from live of switch to key switch then out em fittings
