Now then,

Scenario....

Big shop, 5 internal lighting circuits.

EM's installed as per spec, with a few on each circuit.

LE lighting used with EM conversion packs used.

How would you go about installing a test switch for EM's?

Would you

a) install key switch for each EM pack next to the converted fitting, bearing in mind that the lighting is all L/E recessed,

b) test switch at DB powered from respective circuits,

c) not bother and just use circuit MCB's as the testing will only be done during daylight hours.

Just after opinions, as i have already done it and would be interested to hear others P's.O.V

how are the 5 lighting circuits split up? 5 seperate floors of a couple per floor? whats the location of the c.u?

Its in a shop and so all on one floor and split due to loading.

CU in under stairs walk in cupboard:)

option b would be the best way, having an emergency lighting contactor in at the cu
