Do emergency lights need their own dedicated circuit or can i spur non maintained from existing lights. Tanx in advance

There is no need for a dedicated circuit but the emergency lights should have a test switch incorporated to simulate a power failure into the circuit. BS 5266 9.3.3

Your local fire officer/local authority may require them being fed from the local lighting circuits to where they are situated, so you may need several feeds and test switches

as long as the light has a way to be tested,( i.e local key switch) then theres no requirement to use seperate circuits
