Hi,
at college we worked on a board with a 8-pin relay, x2 stop/start pushbutton. I wanted to replicate this at home for practise but am struggling to find any cheap stop/start pushbutton controlgear???

can anyone point me in the right direction???

Thanks. Rik.

No I havnt, which is quite silly considering the 8-pin relay I have is RS!!!! Ha. Would you have any idea what I would expect to pay for one??? Want to keep the price down due to it being for practise.

Do you get these sort of set-ups in workshops????
I got the impression at college that you would assemble this system on a board and then make a suitable enclosure??? Is this correct????

Thanks again. Rik.

do you know any maintenance guys who work in a factory??? i have to empty my overalls of this stuff all the time, no probs with RS both through the company or privately,
as an afterthought, could the college Engineering Technician not through you some??

i would say ebay as well, as with this kind of kit there are quite a few sellers, i got a whopping great big contactor on there for next to nothing, but it was a Chint one so the jury is still out ;)

That is very cool. It would be the end user software that would make that the absolute king.
