Ever tried looking for maximum Zs and disconnection times for en 60947 breakers in the BRB?

You're both correct.

However you're missing a number off the end bugsy. BS EN 60947-3 is a switch disconnector(isolator) whereas BS EN 60947-2 is a circuit breaker.

Have a look at the table on page 117 of the BRB.

I have not got BRB to but proberly lists devices and functions - can you find max Zs and disconnection times ? ( your right forgot -2 )

I think you would have to refer to the manufacturers data for Zs and disconnection times to be honest.

Mainly because they are all different!! Some will have selectable time delay, plus other variable breaker settings. So you will always have to apply to the enclosed manufacturers data, including that of Max Zs for that particular MCCB...
