Hi to all,
I am new to this forum and thinking of signing up to do the 2365 course at a training provider part time. This is something I have wanted to do for a long time and will now be able to attend the course in the evening as my previous jobs have not allowed my to do this.
Anyway my question is this, what is likely hood of gaining some employment whilst/after doing this course? I have a friend who is a self employed electrician who can show me practical bits and help me with my nvq part when this comes. He seems to think it is a good course and a good way to go but I cannot see how i would be able to get my foot in the door at any level as job adverts I see seem to ask for plenty of experience for even electricians mates. Could somebody please shed some light on this subject of progressing from qualifications to employment without out an apprenticeship, I am aware that this field of work requires plenty of experience but could do with some advice as I am sure some others have been successful this way.
Thanks
Chris
