Eon Fit Aplication

Eon have advised that Friday 18th is the last day that they will be accepting Fit applications from non- Eon customers. Eon customers can apply up to 11th December by email.

We'd got all our paperwork ready to send in :cuss: will have to do it again with other utilities - as if we haven't enough to do already!!

EON are free to accept FiTs registrations from anyone they want to. They are obliged by regulations to offer the service to their own customers. It sounds like they are removing the voluntary option for non-EON customers to register with them.

This may be a permanent change of policy or just a temporary measure to help reduce their workload in the run up to 12th December

Correctulous - we recommend Eon because it's much easier to put your fit with them and forget about it even if you change electricity supplier. So if you have electricity with ScottishPower now but might want it with EDF in a couple of years time then you would have to move your Fit at the same time you move your supply.

Leave your Fit with Eon and you never have to think about changing it if you move electricity supplier. It just makes life easier in the long run. Or should I say it used to .....

Out of interest, what do the rent-a-roof companies do? Surely no one is their supplier.
