EPC Certificate - Anyone doing them remotely??

Hi, I am an Instraller based near Poole in Dorset and am looking for people who can offer EPC's done remotely.

Seem to have to wait for ages for them to be done and also 30 % are falling below level D..

Any help much appreciated.

I doubt an EPC can be done remotely and slo you do know PV can count towards getting an EPC of D don't you?

Thanks yes I know the PV system counts towards the EPC, one of the reasons I am asking is I spoke to an assessor at Ecobuild who told me he was doing them remotely for clients!
I never took his name...

Dodgy ground for the DEA. He has to certify he's been to the property and taken photos etc. He's not allowed to send other people or go on the word of the householder or someone else. He'd get struck off if found to be cheating.

When you get one, get them to talk you through the basics of what makes a D rating. You should only be going for EPC's if you're certain it's going to hit the rating and if it's borderline a chat with a local DEA will help you make the decision.
