Does the centre have a heating or cooling system at all? If it does then an EPC will be required if not then an EPC won't be required just a letter from an EPC assessor stating an EPC would not be possible

forget the EPC put it through as standalone after august fit +increased export

Watch out, some DNO's are asking for new connection agreements >30kWp and requiring 1/2 hourly Export metering as well - on a 36kWp system the export metering cost (install and ongoing metering contract) can almost be the equivalent of export 20,000kWh / annum ....

It's to help them understand the amount of usage on their network, peak demands, reverse flows etc, had one DNO just say that their central distribution transformers can handle reverse flows (say a large number of commercial systems fired up when no demand ) so may start imposing export restrictions and limitations.

I would be suprised if they are not already on 1/2 hourly metering so you should be able to establish their daytime base load. - We have one office block that even when shut down for the weekend has a base load of 70kW, so even on Sunday this week was importing..
