Epcs solar savings number

I have noticed that the EPC figures for a 2.5kw system for the solar savings is extremely higher than any other method for working out the savings.

Anyone else noticed this and surely this is extremely misleading?

RECC figure is nearly half of this for SAVINGS alone.

EPC - you mean the £837 over 3 years, Yep nicely generous isn't it! Seems to think that you'll self use 100% of your generation.

In practice we take everything on an EPC with a big pinch of salt, we also do renewable heating and the figures for space heating and DHW are also highly questionable.

on the flip side the costs given were also about double what they should be last time I looked.
