I am a tad new to this forum but if anyone could give me some advice I would be very grateful.

The scenario is this: At my work we have to accommodate several european companies giving presentations via laptops to our company. What measures do i have to put in place to make sure their mains plug will fit?

I know we the european standard is 220v but are the actual plug types different in different european countries?

Again, any help would be fantastic.

Cheers.

Many adaptors are available from high street stores that will allow the conversion of a european plug to fit a UK socket.

Check link for example. European to UK plug adaptor - BLACK - connevans.co.uk
