European Regs and Practices in Germany

Hi all,
Can anyone point me towards the regs for domestic wirng installs in Germany? I have a freind who wants me to rewire his house in Berlin.

Deutsches Institut für Normung or German Institute for Standardisation to me and you are the chaps that produce the German Wiring Regulations.

DIN VDE 0100 is the German wiring regulations document harmonised with IEC 60364, however I suspect this will all be in german!
