Morning all
Just thought I would share this with you all. I'm quite new to electrics so you can imagine my horror when I asked the customer where the fuse spur was to shut down the power to the boiler so that I could change the controller and he said 'Not sure, I think it's one of those' (see attachment)
Please tell me this is not normal!!

It is a farm house yes. It has had alot of extensions done to the property over the years (by the customer) and I guess that would explain the electrics!!
And to be honest with you, there might well be alot of scrap, but installing a new CSU in there would be to much for me. I think my brain would melt!!

Looks a pure nightmare and Im sure if you feel your not experianced enought if you put where you are there may be one of the guys near you willing to assist with quote or even take the job off your hands and let you assist them there by helping you gain experiance BTW looks like it could be FUN to do and give the client loads of space in the cupboard altho he may lose his glove peg
