The word plonker could get someone a ban? I don't think so... The BBC don't even find the word 'Plonker' offensive and that's saying something!

As for the word DIY, you like that word don't you. You are the human version of 'I know you are but what am I' just like a 5 year old at school does. This, combined with the fact you pointed out the 'ban' word in your previous post just confirms the 5 year old mentality you have adopted, 'I'm telling on you'...

You really do need to get over the thread this evolved from, it was over a week ago now but you still hold a grudge.

We are no doubt equally qualified in the trade and equally experienced but in different fields.

Fella, as far as I can see, in fact, all I've seen of you here - is that you waded in calling people negative without reading what had been written, then proceeded to tell me where I went wrong when I did my BA in Business (that was page 3 or so).... and now you've resorted to name calling.

I can't see anywhere at all that you've shown any evidence of skill in this or any related field, or even social skill.

It could get you a ban and will if you use it again. By reading through some of your posts you are bordering on trolling and yes that can get you a ban also.

Ok, that's fine. May I suggest that you add the P word to the list of expletives that automatically get starred when posted.

I initially came to this forum, while training for my 2391 looking for advice with past papers etc. the help I received was absolutely fantastic and as a result I successfully passed my theory and practical assessments.

I then sold my flat and purchased a house which needed a rewire. Being that I am not trained in domestic works, I returned and asked for advice knowing the wealth of knowledge in this forum I would have been silly not to!

As a result of the above, I have been branded by a forum member as a DIY'er who persistently says so in many threads yet when I try to defend myself (god only knows why I bothered to in the first place) I then get threatened with a ban?! Absolutely crazy.

However, ill just scan the forum from now on, it's pointless posting anything because it always becomes derailed by accusations of being involved in DIY...

The only thing that's derailing this thread is the petty bickering. If someone annoys you just be the bigger man and ignore it.
