Hey Guys
my name is lee im a 3rd year apprentice i know i should not be really thinking about these kind of things this early but does anyone know what other kind of jobs are avalible for qualified electricians like a office type job

Why not decide what you'd like to progress to e.g estimator, prepare yourself a portfolio of qualifications that you would like to gain, and how you want to progress your career within the company to become an "estimator" emphasize your eagerness to learn and progress. I did just this when i was a second year apprentice, my firm paid for half my quals and i paid for half. In a few weeks i will be starting to work in the office 1 day a week and they will train me to become an estimator. just finished my 3rd year.

anything is possible, its how much you want it and how much your willing to work for it.

good luck mate.
