Expensive bargain

Phil 7677 called around for a coffee and a catch up before heading off to Asda for the end of the day reduced items. I went along to pick up some beer and fresh veg for Sundays dinner.

"Whoops" sticker on a load off pre-packed salad boxes, from £1.50 now 15p! Phil picked up a few. At the till with his small trolley of bargains (about 40 quids worth) his total bill came up at £520 odd quid!!!!!! Looking through the til receipt one of the salads came up at £486.06!!!!! The woman on the till gave him it for free.

We all know that Phil likes to pick up a good deal but this time it bit him in the backside. Ever seen a Yorkshire man cry in public? Try and charge him £486.06 for a bloody salad!

as an after thought with their 10% difference g/tee i should have put it on the credit card walked back round and got it refunded for finding it cheaper and 10% on top so we know for next time asda in Bradford had unleaded advertised for 12.9p per ltr the other day. you can imagine the quees for that one

Hmmm, so you had to make a choice between beer or rabbit food and the rabbit won. I would not have made that mistake.
