Exstending solar panels

As can be seen elseware im having 10 solar panels installed My question is if I want to add additional panels at some time in the future do I at this point in time instal a dual inverter to accommodate the additional panels ?

Not really as the inverter will need matching to the panels, unless you opt for SolarEdge which would make it a lot easier as you would only need the optimiser assuming your not adding too many more panels. Solar Inverters, Power Optimizers and PV Monitoring | SolarEdge

Where abouts are you in the UK?
You do not seem to be getting much advice from the companies you have been dealing with!
You said in the previous thread you were looking at 10, 195w panels and now are asking about extending the system. Why 195w panels if you really want a bigger system? If its price then fair enough, although there is probably less difference using reasonable 250+w panels than you may think (or have been told?). Get someone round who knows what they are talking about...

I live on the UK south coast. Im now told to add more panels would mean The FIT would drop to what ever it is at that time as against what it is currently So to get the most Feed In Tariff I have desided to go for the latest quote useing 265 panels
