extension speaker for domestic smoke alarm

hi Guys
i am looking to install a mains operated with battery back up domestic smoke alarm in an outbuilding which is connected to the main house through a mini consumer unit with sockets and lights by SWA.
the main house is too far away from the outbuilding for an internal alarm to be heard.
can anyone suggest an extension speaker, for external use ie IP rated etc. which can be interlinked from the smoke alarm.

Mains powered smoke alarm in the outbuilding, radio link bases, jobs a goodun.
Depending on the distances involved obviously.

If the swa is in a duct you might be able to get a 3 core through which would obviously supply L,N,CPC and the interlink but thats only worth a go if the radio link idea is a no go.
