hi all, i was asked the other day to wire up some outside lighting on a building. There are two sides to the building, therefore two circuits. There are uplights shining up the building and downlights shining down the building. The owner of the building wants all lights to come on from 4 to 12 via a contactor/timeclock/photocell arrangement. Then after 12 he wants the downlights on both sides to come on only when they are activated via a p.i.r. Very complicated, so would be grateful if someone could help, thanks

If the circuits are seperate and control required for both, each circuit should first have its own individual control features
Use a contactor so that the incoming and load of the 2 circuits can be kept seperate

Feed an incoming pole with a relevant circuit supply ( 2 circuits 2 supplies)
Load side to each circuit with the coilbeing controlled by the photocell and time clock which will activate the coil of the contactor
The pir for each circuit when the timer is not used would be switched across the incoming and outgoing of the contactors relevant circuit
