External box for Inverter

I could do with an external box for an inverter, the inverter is an IP65 so in theory ok outside but it's in a really exposed site so I'd rather be a bit more cautious - does anyone know where I can pick something like this up cheaply and easily??

I would be a bit wary of your proposal. You could end up with overheating and/or condensation problems.

And note the next higher ip rating 66 is suitable for the deck of a ship.

If you still you feel you need more protection, I would go for a roof cover and/or shelter from prevailing wind.
