Hi all.
Customer has asked if I can mount light fitting on top of an existing pole to illuminate a section of a car park.
There is power local to the pole already and there is a pir sensor bolted to it which energises another light remote from the pole.
Only problem is that the pole is shorter than what we need.
I did recommend a lampost to replace the existing pole, with either an LED head at the top or a twin flood.
Anyway client is on a budget etc etc.
Does anybody know of a collar bracket that can be strapped to existing pole and a light which can be attached? flood or lantern will do.
Thanks in advance

A pic would help! My first thoughts would be to use a 4/5m steel scaff pole secured to whatever is existing, and then bolt a half coupler to the trunnion arm of the light fixture and use that to clamp onto the scaff pole. But you'll need to risk assess the life out of it first!

Whatever I install it will be from tall step ladder height. As you've mentioned, customer is reluctant to hire a cherry picker/scissor lift.
Thanks guys. I've just had a word with a friend of mine who is a presicion engineer. He is going to measure up and see about making an extending bracket to clamp on . Thanks for the input. I will also take a look at that link on tlc website.
