Hi all. I'm new to your most informative site, although have browsed for a few weeks as the topics discussed are quite interesting to me. Now here comes the rub. I have replaced an external sounder, a Honeywell AG6 in place of I don't know what as it was so beat up and making all sorts of weird noises. The control panel is an Optima XM quite old I think but still functioning as it should. The problem I am having is the connections from the c p to the sounder, it has 5 wires, green, yellow, black, red, blue and white. I have wired as per Honeywell instructions but there are only 4 connection terminals and I am left with a spare wire. Can anyone advise as per links or loops as I don't want to fry the p c b. Here's hoping in anticipation Many thanks Tony.
