I've wired a few phone sockets up before and I want to add an extra socket from the master socket. There is already one other socket coming from the master socket so is it ok to add another from there?

I added a diagram below. I want to add it like diagram A if I can or is it better to do it like B? Or does it not matter?

Can't see that it matters tbh - if you are taking from the back of socket 1 it is still in parallel the same as in your diagram A.
