is it alright to use mains voltage extractor fans in a toilet with just a sink and a kitchen it does nt need to be low voltage does it?

230v fans can even be installed in a bathroom as long as to regs!

People are obsessed with 12volt bits of kit , fans , pumps , lamps . There is absolutely nothing wrong with good old 240 volt hard wired stuff . However it must be installed correctly and to Bs7671 ( latest edition ) . I hate 12 volt its just summat else to install . As if we havnt got enough to do

I hate 12v, it's also false economy as people think it saves then money as it's only 12v, I never fit it and never will.

Pointless using 12v fans IMO. People wet themselves about mains voltage fans in bathrooms but happily install showers.
