Totally agree mate as the FA and other sports governing bodies bang on about promoting british sports (especially when were winning)but yet more and more of our TV sports like Football/Cricket etc are being sold off to pay-per view companies like SKY/ESPN etc hell even one of the england games was only watchable on the internet of which there was a $5 fee

you watch in a couple of years you,ll only be able to watch the Olympics on Sky sports.

I feel the BBC should be buying the rights to broadcast all England games, I would love to have the option of not having BBC included into Sky packages. So we dont have to pay TV licence for crap programs

Yeah its a sad state of affairs when you can't watch your national team on tele. What the hell we doing selling the rights to an irish firm in the first place though. I hope no one paid for this internet thing, they can get ****** starting that racket.

It was nothing to do with the FA but the Ukrainian FA as the game is held out there so the FA in this country has sweet FA to do with the broadcasting of the game.

I'm all for having the option of NOT having BBC channels on your sky/virgin package.

Therefore no tv licence.
I pay tv licence and then extra for virgin it's a rip off.

Some of the crap that the BBC spends it's money on is unbelievable.

I would happily do without that subconscious tool of propaganda for this police state we live in.

Although saying that, I'd pay treble what I pay for my tv package if I could choose not to have adverts.

The other day I was watching Something on the Discovery channel and after SIX MINUTES adverts came on.
Then they were telling me to buy insurance, give £2 a month to Africa, post my unwanted gold etc...
It put me right off, I recorded it so I could watch it later and skip the adverts. Does my head in.

I agree the adverts on sky are a pain, but take the ads out and our subs would be a hell of a lot higher.
Like you i prefer to record or sometimes pause programmes and skip the ads.
