Fabrication

Looks neat Beavstro, do you use rivets on your joints? looks a lot neater than roofers.

We did our right angle bend out of one continuous piece, do you's do it that way for strength or something? my mate is fitting a ship out at the moment and theres loads of extra/different rules they have to work to

My college trained me wrongly to put bends in trunking lol, we were taught to use plates and then to bolt the plates in, when I actually got around to doing trunking on site the spark I was working with showed me the right way, no plates, just knowing how to cut it right, remove the lip on the one side and bend around then bolt through.

I have showed my apprentices during the years what I was taught, they were also taught wrongly at college.
I was the same, just 2 years ago actually! Although we were drilling and rivoting the plates on. Looks alot better when cut and bent properly, although it always seems to be a bit of trial and error cause it's been a wee while since the last time! Lol

The 90 is one continuous piece, keeps continuity. The extra bit you can see it just to allow for neater bending radii on the cables, 25 core 1.5mm2 and plenty of them! I usually do just use roofing bolts.
ship work is a whole different ball game! I think it would be interesting though!
