Got a job coming up...

Customer wants lights in his fascias , all around his bungalow

He wants blue led lamps, was thinking of the cheapy 230v blue cluster led gu10 lamps as he doesn't want them to bright and there only about 3 quid in TLC.

Probably going to be controlled by time clock

My question to you guys is am I ok to use standard gu10 fittings or wood I need to use enclosed bathroom fittings???

Cheers in advance

I'd also only fit external downlighters with a minimum IPX4 rating. In the scheme of things they're not that much more expensive.
There's nothing stopping the owner splashing water, either by sponge or hosepipe, all over the fittings when cleaning the soffit/fascia in future.
