Big Brother is watching you Ted!

At a meeting of the STA in London on Thursday we had a presentation on the FITs changes from the team in DECC responsible for this. It was a positive meeting. Interestingly, they used Ted's graphic of digression giving him full acknowledgement and the same of copyright to illustrate how it will work. They were well impressed with it.

We also got some indication of the way forward for the RHI.

One person who does need bigging up here is Ray Noble. If you don't know who he is shame on you. He has been in the industry for a long time, running businesses such as BP Solar. He has keen interest in BIPV. Ray has worked tirelessly with DECC for months to get the best possible outcome on FITS. I think he now has a camp bed in there. He is continuing to enthusiastically promote the industry ensuring all departments that can help our industry do so.

We may not have everything we want, but at least we have something.

That is great, TedM is the man...

Did they happen to mention that the install rate is down 90%, but they are still reducing the tariffs??

They have been defending the cuts saying it needs to be sustainable well installs down 90% it's very sustainable now but they need more to kill it off so green deal is justified and takes over and the big company's proffit from it. Forget us small company's!!

Well done ted hope you make a difference
