I'm after a bit of guidance here! Being an old fashioned type of chap I always ask what size oven is being installed to get the calcs right, however I recently carried out a Periodic on a property to be let and found that the oven was fitted with a 13A plug and plugged into to the kitchen ring (in a cupboard). The oven isolator was in a cupboard on the other side of the oven which was a Ceta(?) from B&Q rated at 2.1KW to 2.4KW, basically a boxed fan heater.
Have I missed a change in the regs or is this the norm now as I've just priced a kitchen rewire and if I only need to pull in a 4mm radial rather than 6 or 10mm it'll make things easier.
