fan controllers

hi/morning whoever is out there...

i am working on job at mo and there is fan controllers in shower rooms, there is is 2 blues, 2 browns and earth if i can remeber correctly there is terminals marked L ,N, T F and maybe another one....

just wondered if anyone knew of something stupid im doing there voltage there and im reading it wrong or its faulty.. someone had two blues put together but i separated and put into connection f... and fiddled abputo
il try again today and if not il take few photos as i know you guys like a pic. and obviously love to get things actually working

Is it single or 3 phase?

Is it a 2 speed fan ?

Is it reversible ie extract/intake?

single phase and installed in a shower room facilty.. just extract.. had data sheet in hand , but of forgot it

Then most likely you have a run on timer there as it would be extract only, and depending on it's size doubt it will be 2 speed, is this commercial or domestic?

So you should permanent LINE S/LINE and NEUTRAL + CPC

its an xplair Db20 humidifier activated fan in a shower room.. it has connections of F - L - T - N i understand it as T is used if light is being used to activate aswell. in my case no lights involved so terminal T irrelevant .

so have my line feed goes to L, switch/line to fan in terminal F and neutrals together.... but still couldn't get this to work.

Yes you can link out the run/run on operation and it would work ok

very small terminals as well for two conductors
