i have got to wire a fan speed controller and i have wired a supply to it via a spur but i am not fully aware of the connections inside the speed controller, the connections are obv live and neutral in and then 4 more connections which are (fan neutral, exhaust L, intake L, and shuttle L, any help would be great thanx

Your fan needs to be the correct one for your controller, then by the sounds of it you need to run 4core and earth between them and connect like for like. Be careful and follow all instructions as some models require capacitors to be taken out of the controller and fitted to fan dependant on model your fitting.
