Hi, new to forum.
I used to be an electrician a few years ago and believe or not I have forgotten a few things about wiring, have been doing the odd job here and there but have come across a little problem though I'm sure is pretty basic compared to a lot of people's knowledge on here.
I have a low voltage fan in a bathroom. Do I go from the switch to the fan transformer/then to the isolator/then the fan?Or from the switch to the isolator/ then to the transformer/ then to the fan?
Thanks
Drew

the isolator needs to isolate the 230v to the tranny so as you can work safely on the tranny and/or fan, so isolator before tranny. and read manufacturers instructions. may have to fuse at 3A as well.

Right, so isolator before transformer. I was thinking that the isolator needed to be worked on 230v and couldn't be worked through a lower voltage so it would be first. So you have reassured me. Thanks very much. Drew.
