hi all
wonder if anyone can clear this up.
installing 2 holiday flats on the side of a pub.building control have told me i need a 60l/s ex fan in the kitchen.
the kitchen in this case is a cooker-sink-fridge and a 300 unit and 600 unit.
its part of the lounge/hall of the flat.
the kitchen extractor is above the cooker-hob on the wall at 1900mm high.
i was under th impression that a 30l/s was the min under these circumstances.
is the final word down to the inspector??
i ask this because 18 months ago a building inspector told me i needed a airflow test for a job we were doing at the time and made a huge fuss.he basically told me that NO AIRFLOW TEST..NO SIGNING OFF THE JOB !..
but after a few weeks and a few phone calls he called the builder(not myself) and said that this was not required.many hours were lost by myself due to this.
all replys greatfully accepted..
