Hi all, I've recently installed halers H2 pro LED downlights with V pro dimmers as suggested from my wholesaler. After energising the circuits I carried out a quick functional test in each room and all was working correctly. I've been back since to fit a cabinet above the basin which has built in lights with a infa red switch and a fluorescent light in the roof space. When switching on/off the loft light or infra switch I've noticed the lights in the bedroom will turn off for about 10 seconds. Is this to do with the control gear in these units?

Sounds like it may be a safety overload cut out operating. I can't remember the operating modes of the V-pro, but are the cabinet lights and loft light also connected through the dimmer switch?
it maybe worth reading the specifications for the dimmer.

However if the cabinet lights or fluorescent are starting up then they may generate a pulse on the circuit that is affecting the dimmer, though they are usually fairly resistant to such things.
Worth checking your wiring connections to ensure there are no loose connections that are failing under load.

They are all on the same lighting feed, I've contacted varilight but I'm currently waiting for a call back from technical. I'll double check the terminations and try a different type dimmer
