Had a job last evening/night, strip out and replace all lights in conduit and singles in a commercial unit.
Had all the conduit and fittings up by 10pm, some awkward places but neat job and feeling pleased with myself.
Went to my vehecle to get the cable, and realised that in my rush between the last job and preparing for this one I had picked up my drums of 2.5 rather then 1.5.
I had a choice of a 2 hour round trip back home or fitting a lighting circuit with room for lots of further expansion.
Idiot.

Anyone else want to own up to stupid blunders?

Same mistake. I was doing a simple cooker change over for a golfing pal for beer money.2.5mm in the boot , 7pm had to go to homebase and pay three times more than normal. No beer money left but still had a good night out after.

Nobody can be right all the time. Everybody makes mistakes. No need to feel stupid. Just be careful and trying to avoid the same mistakes. That's enough.
