Hi All,

Looking into doing a domestic installer course with FI Electrical in Scotland , does anyone have any info regarding this company?.

Also can anyone advise me as to whether the part P course is a requirement in Scotland.

Cheers,

Steve.

So this should be included in the course?

Course adviser says that the following qualifications would allow me to commence work as an electrician,

Stage 1,
Electrical Theory Course £300+VAT

Stage 2,
City and Guilds 17th Edition BS7671 £450+VAT

Inspection and testing regulation and requirementsBS7671 £300+VAT

City and Guilds In service and inspection and testing £300+VAT

Could anyone advise me whether this is correct or not, I have 3 years experience working for an electrician but need to get qualified.
I was told that completion of this course would qualify me as a Domestic Installer. Allowing me to do my own work and gain further Quals as I earn.

Would really appreciate some help with this.
Cheers, Steve.
